About Minvy

A home inventory solution built by friends, for real life — free to use, and simple to trust.

We built it because we needed it. Now we're sharing it with anyone who wants a calmer, clearer sense of what they own.

Our Story

We had a problem that felt embarrassingly common: we didn't really know what we owned.

Not the big stuff — but the camera buried in a drawer, the laptop bag we couldn't find, the appliances we'd forgotten we had. When something broke, got stolen, or needed insuring, we were guessing.

So we built Minvy. A side project between friends that grew into something we wanted other people to have too.

Everything in it has been our own time, effort, and care — and that's not going to change.

What Minvy Is For

Whether you're cataloguing your home for insurance, preparing for a move, or just want to finally know what's in the loft — Minvy keeps it simple.

📋  Know what you own — search, browse, and track everything in one place.

🏠  Insurance and claims — a clear record of your belongings when you need it most.

📦  Moving house — know exactly what you have, and where it's going.

Built in Public, Improved by Feedback

Minvy is still evolving. We're building it step by step, listening to the people who actually use it.

The best ideas we've had came from real frustrations — things that didn't work, features that were missing, moments that felt harder than they should be.

If something's great, tell us. If something's broken or confusing, tell us that too. Both matter.

Our Commitment

Minvy will always have a free tier.

We built this without outside funding, which means we've been able to make choices based on what's right — not what extracts the most value from users. If we ever introduce paid features, a free version will be available.

That's a commitment, not a marketing line.
